A brief history of the Kennel

Camilla, sweet Camilla...everything started with her.
Camilla, born in 1992, was our first Yorkie and our first champion! Besides her, the first bitches that started our kennel were Notorious Jadis and Notorious Moodie's who , like Camilla , have Antica Mura/ Millmoor bloodlines.
Our first male, imported from Spain in 1995, was Universo de la Villa y Corte. After his first three couplings with three different bitches, he produced a female that won many titles including a European Championship.
Universo has a Villa y Corte bloodline and in his pedegree the Ozmillion english line is dominant. His first litter was born without a kennel name but by september 1997 the FCI recognized officially the “Pigot” designation and the first Pigot puppies were born in november of the same year. Therefore the official birthdate of our kennel was 1997.
We are very proud of the fact that even though our kennel is fairly new it has already distinguished it self internationally by producing several champions as well as earning Best of Breed in European Show of Genoa in 1998 with one of our bitches (PIGOT OBSESSION ) and European Champion male in Bratislava 2003 ( PIGOT J'ADOR).
In an attempt to create our own particular type of Yorkie that could set us apart from others, in 1999 we introduced a Majodian bitch (Minuetto Nilla)and in 2002 Mariah's champion male from U.S.A. (Am.Ch.Mariah's Teepee Dream) as well as intermingling other best american and european bloodlines.

The characteristics that we are seeking to enhance in order to produce what we consider the perfect Yorkie are:
1)  An even temperament with a graceful gait
2)  An elegant bone structure with an elongated neck
3)  A smooth silky coat with the right colouring
4)  A pleasing, well proprtioned head
